Talk about turnabout, FINALLY!!

Well folks, there has been something missing from my life as of late. A little game series called the "Ace Attorney" series! Last time I played a new game in this series, it was in 2010 folks, so I'm excited to tell you that more games are coming our way!

(The cover art for the next game in the series!)

The new game has Phoenix wright as the protagonist once again, and so is Apollo Justice! This game is apply named "Ace Attorney 5: Duel Destinies". Plus, this game has even more gameplay elements than ever before. The investigation environments are now in 3D and so are the character models, and there will still be questioning possible witnesses/suspects.

Now the "Psyche lock" gameplay is still there, where you grill witnesses and suspects using evidence to get them to spill their guts. The perceive system is also back, allowing us to Pursue a line of questioning by observing strange nervous ticks of a witness.  Thoroughly reviewing evidence is also back.

In this game they're also bringing back the "logic function" from the "Ace Attorney Investigations" game, where you review your evidence and try to find links between them to build your argument. And new to the game series is the "mood matrix" where you can pursue a line of questions based upon emotional reactions of witnesses and suspects. This game will be a download only game for the 3DS. And will hit shelves later this year.

The second game is the "Layton vs Phoenix wright". This game was released awhile back in Japan, with no release for North America being planned, in traditional Capcom fashion. But Phoenix wright fans finally bugged them enough to give in. The new game takes place in medieval times, which Layton and Phoenix are transported to by way of a magical book. A young girl is being accused of being a witch, and Phoenix decides to help her, though he was unaware that the laws of this world don't work the same in his, having to learn a whole new court system.

Professor Layton in this game, seems to be the investigation expert, finding evidence by cracking codes and puzzles. In court, Phoenix cross examines multiple witnesses at the same time, having use the statements of one witness to contradict the statement of another. This game will also feature full anime sequences, and voice acting, something  really new for Phoenix Wright. This game sounds fun and exciting, and I can't wait for it! It hits shelves sometime next year.

Now all we Ace attorney fans have to do, is get Capcom to release Ace Attorney Investigations 2, and I'll be happy!
