Plot: Easier to let you read for yourself:
"The game stars the powerful ninja, Yaiba Kamikaze. He was once part of a clan that tested the abilities of its ninja by putting them up against a highly skilled member, in this case being Yaiba himself. However, he eventually grew tired of his weak apprentices and decided to massacre his clan and leaving the survivors to their deaths.
At some point he meets with franchise mainstay Ryu Hayabusa and decides to challenge him, claiming that he was the weakest foe he had encountered thus far. During the battle he would discover otherwise as Ryu crushed his left arm and eye, almost killing him.
Later he is discovered by a mysterious organization who restore his lost body parts with mechanized duplicates. Yaiba learns that a zombie outbreak had begun and that Ryu had been searching for the source of the infection. He decides to work with the organization that resurrected him in order to exact his revenge against Ryu, agreeing to help put a stop to the spread of zombie infection.[7]" (Courtesy of en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yaiba:_Ninja_Gaiden_Z)
Gameplay/Overview:
In true Ninja Gaiden fashion, Yaiba: NGZ will be played from a 3rd person perspective. Combat will be your standard hack-n'-slash, with the addition of "Blood-Lust" mode, which took the place of "Ultimate-Technic" mode in the preivous games, Blood- Lust allows the player to decimate multiple enemies in quick succession. Yaiba:NGZ has broken the Ninja Gaiden tradition of realism in its animation style, and has instead went with shell-shading, fans of the Borderlands series will recognize this, to give things more of a comic book feel. Players will also be able to keep track of the number of enemies they turn to brain jelly with the score multiplier, no word yet on whether this will have any positive side-effects or not, cause like the majority of the information about this game, things are under a tight lock and key. Moving on, ninpo (which is used in the other games as special abilites and attacks) will not return in Yaiba. Yaiba will relie upon his, as of yet un-named katana, and his cybernetic arm. The trailer for the games hints at the ability to use zombie parts as weapons as well. Which brings me to another factoid, the main enemies of Ninja Gaiden Z arm...you guessed it, those walking, brain-loving, bags of undead fles we all know and love, ZOMBIES! Finally a game where we pit one of the most deadly forces against good old fashion undead hordes, and for that Team Ninja we hear at Nerds Socialize thank you! So this brings things to a rather untimely end for now. This has been StormWulf...Stay frosty nerds!
