I know PLENTY of people who will flip
out at the fact that there is an HD version of This game coming out,
let alone a COLLECTORS edition. The X series of FF games were fun,
though not my favorite, it was definitely a fun ride, and it stuck
with many people. Link girl (from the 3 ep of the podcast's “Nerds
Brawl” segment) is the biggest fan of Yuna from that series. And FF
X aside from being one of the biggest “DO YOU LOVE ME NOW DAD?!”
stories, it was just breath taking and compelling. And FFX-2 was
mostly just fan service, but still a fun play and just a good time.
The HD collectors edition, only
avalible at Square Enix store for a reasonable $80...... Sorry, I can
ever bring myself t spend more than 50 bucks on a game, regardless of
extra content. But to fans of the series, it's probably worth it. It
comes with a hard bound art book of both FFX and X-2 and features art
of various characters, costumes, enemies, and environments in it.
These artbooks are gold to people who are just taken back with design
and style of the game, which I'll admit... is impressive. You'll get
5 lithographs, and a blu-ray disc with 6, that's right, SIX HOURS of
music from the game. This alone is amazing, cause ALL FF games have
just beautiful music. And on top of that, the music will be playedi n
conjunction with images from the game playing in the background.
Basically a LONG glorified slide show with pretty music. But I bet
it's a pretty amazing disc with an amazing set of music on it.
All this will be released March 18th
guys. So if you're not broke or in the poor house after christmas,
look into it!
