From the couch front, to the Battlefield 4!

Everything hurts... My feet, the scars on my face, and hell, I think even my boots feel like they're hurting... And at the forefront of my mind is how hungry I am getting. One can't help bu feel hungry when they are beat, electrocuted, and forced to watch one of your friends get his teeth knocked in. Funny thing is, we did not give them any information. The funny thing is Irish would have spilled his guts for some food, but all that is in the past now. Out objective, we must destroy the dam! I pick up my very expensive, and very fancy PLD (Portable Laser Designator).

I see at least fifteen enemies, with another hundred yards or more to cover as more enemies hide, each one wanting our heads impaled on a stick. I can still hear Irish and Hana fighting about where we should plant the C4. I get very tired of this and pick out two enemies that had wondered off by themselves. I grab my Steyr Scout Elite sniper rifle I hold my breath and let the bullet travel to the first target. He felt nothing as I quickly found the second one in my sights. I follow and lead him as he RUNS OFF the dam!

I switch to my PLD and watch as he lands on the ground safely and still continues to run. I pause my game. Great another thing I can add to the list of crap that has happened on battlefield 4. So far the list of bugs I have found in this game is as follows:

three times my memory and game progress has been wiped along with the awards I worked hard to achieve. So I had to start all over again, I even had to pull an all nighter to get this done. Even so, I tripped up two times in the process. It got to be such a problem that I had to report the problems to Sony. But even then, I had to pick up the game and fight my way through enemies that I already killed before. Another time, as I was climbing up a ladder, I glitched through Irish. After that, I got tossed through the air, landing on a pile of sharp pointy rubble that was on fire. I was stuck, and could not escape as the fire began killing me. Basically this forced me to restart again...

So what do I think of Battlefield 4's storyline? Over all it is good, but having to watch the same crap over and over thanks to all those glitches got old fast. This really does not feel well knowing that the game was not finished. It's nice that they got multi-player polished up, but the holes left in the other aspects of the game made it frustrating. Like the game crashing, and losing memory files. But if one of you were to buy this game, more than likely you are getting it for the multi-player, which they were ACTUALLY able to get done in time. So my question is, when will the new “Battlefield: Bad Company” come out? will they ever finish that story? All questions we want answers to, and so far... no answers... *sigh*

Ultra Street Fighter IV: Is Capcom being a LITTLE less douchey for once?

Okay... if you follow Nerds socialize... then you know how Me (J-foo) and Stormwulf feel about Capcom... we lover their games, BUT WE HATE THEM SO MUCH! WHY DO YOU TEASE AND TORMENT US CAPCOM!? WHY?! WHAT DID WE EVER DO TO YOU!?”

okay... I... I'm sorry... I didn't mean to... go off like that... it's just a reflex at this point...... BUT I WAIT TEN YEARS FOR A THIRD MEGAMAN LEGENDS GAME, AND YOU FINALLY ANNOUNCE IT AND CANCEL A YEAR LATER! WHAT GALL DO YOU HAVE TO JUST GIVE SOMEONE HOPES AND DREAMS AND PULL THEM RIGHT OUT FROM UNDER THIER FEET LIKE AN OLD FILTHY RUG?! HUH!? HUH!? ANSWER ME!.........

okay... I... sorry again... Okay... well... Capcom is releasing “Ultra Street Fighter IV”. WELL, if you bough regular “Street Fighter IV” and got pissed when you had to go out and spend another 50 bucks on “Super Street Fighter IV” in typical Capcom fashion, you guys are probably pissed to hear about “Ultra Street Fighter IV”. Well before you go off the rails like I do, take a deep breath and relax... relax... because for once... Capcom isn't going to pull the douche card on us this time. If you own Super Street Fighter, you can upgrade your game to Ultra Street Fighter for $15. Yeah, you gotta put out $15 bucks, but at least they didn't release it as a brand new game and demand another $60 bucks out of you for once. Though... those of you who bought regular Street Fighter IV... you're STILL fucked!

Now all I gotta do is get Capcom to make Megaman legends 3... and then MAYBE.. just MAYBE I'll forgive them a little bit... MAYBE!

Though, I wonder how people will react to “Poison” being thrown back into the fray. Personally, I love the character poison, not because she dresses in a provocative way, or is overly sexualized, which, lets be honest folks, she IS. I love Poison, cause she fucks with your head. If anyone actually keeps up with the story behind the character Poison, when they brought her over to the States, they decided she couldn't be female, even though she looks decisively female. Well... only in the fact that she dresses in a way that you can't ignore that fact. The reason they decided this is the fact that Capcom didn't want to get sued by “Feminists” for having a game where it's okay to beat on a woman (regardless of the fact that she's the villain and was trying to kill you). So Capcom's BRILLIANT idea? Poison is a Tranny. So it's OKAY to hit someone that LOOKS like a woman, cause she's actually a guy? Man... I don't think they really thought that one through...

but I'll say this, having a Transexual Character isn't a bad thing in a game, not by any means. It actually includes a whole group of people in the world who are for the better part, never really mentioned or spoken of very openly. The only thing I don't like about Poison, is that she protrays a transsexual in a very misogynist manner, and is the butt of several jokes throughout the game series, though usually not intended as insults, but more confusion amongst the various characters in the series who are unsure of the fact they're fighting a woman or a man. So there you go, a small Street fighter history lesson.

Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones... I hope this one is worth the 9 bucks

Soooooo... Horror movies anyone? if there is one thing I never tire of watching, it's horror movies. One of my favorite series is the "Paranormal activity" series. Yes, it can get kind of dry at times, but you have to get into the experience to truly enjoy that movie. I  was satisfied with the 4th one. it wasn't as good as the first 3, but as a fan, it gave me some of the mystery and excitement I had been dying for. Well, they're coming out with a side story to the PA series "The Marked Ones". I have mixed feelings about it to be honest. One of the main reasons I liked the first 3 is cause it was tied in so closely to ONE specific family and their experiences with "Toby" the demon over the course of an entire generation. The marked ones ventures away from this drastically, even more so than the second one.

This new installment pretty much has nothing to do with the other 4 movies at all. it's jsut something that just kinda happened somewhere to some people we don't really know or idetify with... as far as I know. As a PA fan, I'll probably give it a try to see if it's worth a watch, and if anything new is revealed. But THANKFULLY, "The Marked Ones" is not considered the fifth movie in the franchise. It is, like I said before, a SIDE story to the events that happened after 2. So they are planning on making a PA5 which will hopefully pick up where the 4th left off... man... When or if this series ends, it better have a payoff that is worth it guys. Cause like I said, as much as I love the ride of the stories I watch unfold, I also love a good solid ending worthy of the story... don't disappoint me guys...

Nerd World Problems 1: Capcom... TEN YEAR!?

J-foo has been a busy boy these last couple days! from failing at Dark Souls, to ranting to a webcam. He decided to call his little skit "Nerd World Problems" since it deals with silly problems that only nerds would consider a travesty. so please, enjoy J-foo in his natural state... as he rigorously explains things to the nerdiest of degrees.

Walking Dead, Season 4! COMING SOON FOLKS!!!

Okay folks StormWulf here, how many people out there are like me and are anxious about the fact that the new season of The Walking Dead starts on 13th!!!!!!! I for one can't wait! New season means new drama, new characters to fall in love with/hate(i.e the Governor) and more favorite characters (excluding Lori of course...the cheating whore of BeelSabin she was....) meeting untimely and horrendous deaths at the hands of either the living or the dead!


Okay so this new season has a lot in-store for us like the introduction of a new character Bob Stookey a former army medic. It also sees the return of old characters like Tyrese and Sofia who will have larger roles than their previous seasons. And it also sees the return of the dreaded Govenor! So be sure to tune in to AMC on Sunday the 13th @ 9:00pm to get ur Zombie fix
